After Cameron passed away, we were allowed to take his body to Demelza Children's Hospice in Sittingbourne, where he was placed in a bed in his own room, known as a cold room. This meant that we were allowed to be with him right up until his cremation day. He appeared to be sleeping and as usual smiling! This time was precious, as he had been taken so suddenly. The staff at Demelza helped us with the arrangements and fed and watered us. They even dressed him in his school uniform for his final journey. God bless them.
